Alright, I acted a bit hastily on this one based on the screenshots. I'm not saying your actions were right, Gandalf, and some sort of ban should have remained. I'm also not saying what Lookback did was wrong. I should have waited to do anything until I spoke with Lookback. Lookback, I apologize to you for stepping on your toes without hearing your side. Anybody who reads this, please know that when an admin is asking you for a response, just reply and be done with it. This way we can avoid bans for ignoring admins. Good learning lesson for me here.

Thanks for coming in and posting. I don't see anything in the screenshots that's worthy of a one week ban. I've asked for Lookback to reach out to me to discuss. Until I hear back from him, I'm going to lift the ban. Closing the thread for now.

Hello HardDark, I took a little time to talk with a couple admins and look into your bans. I'm changing this ban to one week, however please note that the language needs to be kept clean. The other thing that I'd like to note is please be careful with how you refer to your teammates; sometimes calling somebody a noob is taken in fun, but we don't always have good days and it can often upset the other players. Keep those two things in mind and I'm sure you'll be alright. However, further issues will result in a permanent ban. Feel free to come back after a week is up and enjoy the game.

Peanut asked me to look at this after work. Maestro, please send me the specifics on the ban and I'll talk with you in a couple hours.

Generally rude to others." They still drop at a very low rate, same with Bravo and the other older grey cases.

I don't think dynmap works anymore as bukkit is no longer supported. Therefore, there aren't really any mods either, I believe. Tirtul can offer more insight.

Good call Peanut. I was going to extend the ban myself. This is a great example of the kind of attitude that doesn't help get you unbanned.

There's probably room on the VDS that runs l4d2, but we'd still need somebody to volunteer to do all the setup and run it. It'd also be nice to see a good size group of players committing to play so we don't turn around and shut it down after a month.

I don't think it's a great idea. The player base just isn't there anymore. Peak player count for CSS today was 13,312 players. For CSGO it was 539,481 and even with over half a million players on at once our server still sat empty most of the day.

That very well may be the case, however we don't mind new players at all. Nobody will chastise you or yell at you. They're more likely to help you learn the game.

Apparently the publisher sets the % that the mod makers get:
