Just curious, Why did you end up deleting most of the skins and stuff? Was it due to graphics cost or something?

It would probably help to have the gamers coalition before the server name/description. This would guarantee that the servers all show up side by side in the list. It would also make them more noticable too.

While I haven't been part of this community as long as most, I feel that I should show my support. I've played with many of you on the CS servers over the past year and 1/2, and in that time I feel that I've at least gotten to know some of you fairly decently. I've also gotten impressions about others. From what I've seen and heard, Fatty is a fair, fun and great guy to know and play with in cs. I've rarely heard solid complaints and have never had one myself. I have the utmost respect for what he does and how he does it. I think he's a good example of the ideal of this community and does a tremendous job! PDO, I've only played with you on a handful of occasions so I don't feel I know you the best, but from those times I got the impression that you overreact easily. I recall one specific instance where I, myself overreacted and TK'd you intentionally quite some time ago. You started ranting in game that you would have my banned and that I was gone. Obviously that didn't happen. Despite what happened I think that was the only unpleasantness between you and me and otherwise I haven't had any complaints about you. Your statement that you aren't a whiner because you've been caption of a sports team is irrelevant. I'd say nice job, but otherwise it has no bearing on you in this community. You can't try to justify or change how you're perceived here by what you did or do somewhere else. Really it almost sounds like you're just trying to rant off some selling points like you are in a job interview and showing off your resume. As for your complaints about the source engine. You show me a perfect, bug-free, flawless piece of complex software, and I will personally read every single line of code. The simple fact is, every program has bugs. Expecting the software to work properly for everyone is unrealistic. I think that they released it too late, it would've been nice if we could've gotten a perfect program, but this isn't pleasentville. However, I have to put my support behind Fatty. He's puts in a ton of work and time for this community. He is always working on supporting the servers and everyone in the community. I'm truely sorry that you feel you've been treated unfairly; but after your posts, I can't say that I'm sorry to see you go. Good luck out there.

Do you have the Microsoft Intellitype installed? I bought a MS Natural Media keyboard and after installing that cs wouldn't work right when I tried to move. If I remember right I couldn't turn with my mouse while moving with the kb. It was really stupid and annoying. The only solution I found was to unisntall intellitype, which they tell you not to do, but it works just fine. A couple of the hotkeys don't work but didn't bother me any.

I'm running a 6800gt from eVGA. It runs great mostly, but I have a horrible time when a map has the flashing lights such as prodigy's spawn. I haven't been able to figure it out though...

The main reason I"m considering it is because a friend of mine is trying to get 5 people together for the 5 domain plan. 100 bucks for lifetime... I just have the feeling that it seems too good to be true and Bean, it's not really for the ftp space, that I don't need. Mostly for the domain thing and that it's a lifetime deal

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here has ever used, or heard of www.foreverhosts.us ? I'm considering moving my webpage to them from my Colleges domain. Sounds like they have really good deals and I"m just wondering if anyone can give any opinions or advice on them? Since this is the first time I've considered have my webpage on my own domain I'm kinda new to some of this.

I'm usually in the 40's to 50's for ping. My FPS is usually around 60-75 for most maps, cept that stupid flashing light on prodigy. My card is a nVidia GF 6800 gt 256 MB.

Also don't try firing while moving. For best accuracy you should be stationary for a second or two before firing. And set cl_dynamic_crosshair to 1. This makes your crosshair adjust to reflect your approximate accuracy. When it expands you'll be less accurate and so on.

Have you had her try Yahoo Antispy? Yeah I know, Yahoo, but it works really good, especially on IE spyware. I run it weekly, and at least once it has found a trojan that both Spybot 1.3 and AdAware SE both missed. You can get it with the new Yahoo toolbar. I've been using firefox for awhile now and it's pretty good, but I just heard a few days ago about a big hole in it security wise. This is supposedly going to be fixed in the next version. I believe the hole was somethind due to spyware and/or phishing software.

I second the vote on cheatuea. I'm working on playing on mayhem more now. The no scopes certainly changes the map tactics!

So I'm working on my own couple maps, but I thought I'd post something asking what you, the players, want! Right now I"m working on one that will possibly be a version of an aim map or something with teh gameplay of fy_iceworld. I haven't quite decided yet. I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone else wants to play!
