  1. I throw my keyboard at the wall and use it as an excuse to buy a new one.
  2. The atmosphere of the game is great, it's too bad the AI is hot garbage.
  3. I don't see Microsoft backtracking on the DRM. Some things like your console having be online every 24 hours, maybe they will extend that to three days, but I see most of it staying at what it is. Microsoft must have done the math of how many potential buyers they would lose having this online DRM compared to people who never go online. They even said at one point, "If you want to play games offline, go buy a 360." Also for the price I can see them saying: Hey, we got an Xbox One cheaper than the Playstation 4 for $299!* *requires 3 year contract with Xbox Live Gold Membership I actually do completely agree with Microsoft's DRM, the internet only future has to come sometime. If the Xbox One lasts for seven years like the Xbox 360, think of how the year 2021 will be. I already stopped buying games on physical media for the PC, I would love a time when I can stop buying physical CDs for a console and get whatever I want day 1 through a download. Of course, I live outside of Detroit, not in Ethiopia where less than 1% of the population has internet. I don't know what it's like to not internet readily available. I still don't know if online DRM is an issue because people hate the thought of having to be online to play a game or if it's an issue because there's people out there that really don't have access to the internet. That being said, I have a Day One Playstation 4 on preorder, not an Xbox One. Not because of DRM but because I don't like Microsoft exclusives expect for Forza Motorsport. I don't care about Halo and I don't care about Gears of War. On the flip side I don't care about Final Fantasy for Metal Gear Solid. I'm kind of stuck between a Western and Eastern mindset between games. But the Sony has more exclusives I do care about, so that's what I'm getting.
  4. I have a RAZR that came with a thing from Motorola called SMARTACTIONs, it does the same kind of thing. I wonder how much of a difference there is between Tasker and SMARTACTIONS?
  5. Would not surprise me either. The vocal minority rule the internet discussion, but they are still the minority. PC folks haven't been able to trade or sell used games in ages and they aren't crying about it. Not to mention the fact that I don't sell my old games anyway (I make sure to only buy the good ones). I'm looking forward to the Xbox One more than the PS4 simply because MS is trying new ideas to make the experience better. The PS4 thus far has felt closer to a PS3.5 in that it is a more incremental improvement without trying anything too daring. That said I want both because the exclusives are just looking so damn good. PC gamers also have to spend 5-6 times as much as console gamers for their system. They have money and don't need to trade games in to buy new ones even if they could. The N64 came out when I was in 5th grade, I remember classmates that never owned more than one game because they would buy one, play it, then turn around and trade it in for a new one. Some didn't even buy games, they rented them all from Blockbuster. I think PCs are for the older gamer. You need the money to be able to actually afford a gaming PC and you need a general idea of how they work. That way when they break you aren't always calling your uncle because he gave you his old PC but now he regrets it because every time there's an issue you call him because you never owned a PC before and have no idea how a PC works because you're a spoiled brat that had an Xbox 360 AND a Playstation 3 since you were six years old!
  6. There's not much there, it's a tiny town.
  7. I voted for all of them because I didn't want to taint the legitimacy of the poll.
  8. How much does Minecraft cost now adays?
  9. I would say the only things correct in that article from what we know so far is that there was a Kinect 2 and Blu-ray, which anyone could have seen coming. Also, of course there would be 1080P and 3D support. They haven't shown any Kinect glasses. The Kinect 2 is a single unit, not two like show in the pictures. There's 8gb of ram, not 4gb (could have been increased because of Sony's announcement). No backwards compatibility with the 360. Not called the Xbox 720. I think the generic things in the article such as Microsoft wanting it to be a media box are true, but they've already been leaning that way with the 360. All the specifics are inaccurate, but it's impossible to know what was accurate at the time of the leak.
  10. I'm using Sennheiser HD 558s (http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-558-Headphones/dp/B004FEEY9A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369936449&sr=8-1&keywords=hd+558) and a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Desktop-Microphone-Black-Silver/dp/B00009EHJV/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1369936472&sr=1-2&keywords=logitech+desktop+microphone).
  11. I vote you're part of the problem!
  12. Anyone interested in Steam coupons? I have three for 75% off of Total War: Shogun 2 and one for 75% off of Serious Sam 3. Shogun 2 would be $7.50 and Serious Sam 3 would be $10.00 based on today's prices. If you're interested post here, PM me, or message me on Steam.
  13. I think I still have like 1,000 from before they patched it.

    Marvel Hero's

Jeez, judging by the website it might as well be called Iron Man the game.
  15. I felt the total opposite for Diablo 3, I wish there was MORE character specific loot. Any character can use any weapons because the damage of skills is all based on the damage of the weapon. A wizard using a big two handed axe is dumb in mind, but because it has more DPS than his little wand he has to use it. It almost makes the character specific items useless when everything is based on the damage your weapon can do. I like games that gear specific loot to specific characters. Titan Quest and Torchlight both do it, they require you to have a certain amount of a stat to equip certain armor. So to equip the wizard armor you need a certain amount of INT, which makes sense to me (kind of, in real life needing to be smart to wear certain clothes would be dumb). Or a warrior needs strength to equip heavy armor. Every normal RPG works like that, I don't know why Blizzard thought Diablo 3 shouldn't. It's by far my biggest complaint of the game. I can ignore the auction house but I can't ignore a basic gameplay mechanic.
  16. Always be knifing! After playing Battlefield 3 and coming back to CSGO, CSGO is just annoying at times. Shooting a guy 20 times with a gun for 80 damage is just frustrating. Well... you probably shot him 30 times but only 20 shots registered.
  17. I don't think I had much more trouble in Diablo 3 than I did in Diablo 2 finding good loot because I never found any good loot in either game.
  18. I'm totally anti-farming, so I play it once every couple of months with a new character and then stop playing before I get to the point where I'm like, "I need better loot to get by!"
  19. My first LCD monitor was a 24" BenQ. I paid around $400 for it. Right now I'm using an Asus VG236H. I think I paid around $350 for it. If I'm staring at a monitor for hours at a time, I want something that's pretty nice and I'm willing to spend a bit of extra cash. That's how I justify cost in my life, if it's something I'm going to be using everyday I'm willing to put down more cash for something of higher quality. Like last month I needed a stapler for ONE thing, I bought the cheapest crappiest one I could find, I think it fell apart by the time it was done. When I bought my headphones I paid around $200 because I knew I'd be using them just about every day. Maybe that's normal, I don't know.
  20. Not a huge deal. There was an exploit, Blizzard found it, they delt with the accounts involved. Where's the issue?
  21. It said "slaid" instead of "slayed"? How embarrassing for whoever wrote that...
