Hambone February 7, 2003 Share Hambone Member February 7, 2003 Back when I played UO, the community, after being several years old, gave out awards for various categories, just as a fun thing to do. Gaming awards, and forum awards, and misc awards. Categories would include stuff like: Best Counter-Strike Player: Best Terrorist: Best CT: Best Team Player: Best Clutch Player: and for Forum awards stuff like Best Overall Community Member: Friendliest: Most Talkative: Funniest: Strangest: Stuff like that. Just posting here because most people read this forum in the community. The way we did it there was a nomination process, consisting of PMs with 2 or 3 names for each category once the category was decided on. Just throwing the idea out, I think it'd be fun. At least that's how I think, and then you'd have 1)people that were honored even for being nominated, b)people that could easily pick from suggestions, and III)an easy way to keep track and count. Each one of these categories (add more?) has to be a seperate poll/thread. It'd be nice to throw up a temp forum for this too once the nominations are done.
