yErMoTH3r June 5, 2007 Author Share yErMoTH3r GC Founder June 5, 2007 For when you lock your 'space heater' in the closet (Duke understands this) with a dedicated 7000btu a/c unit and you really really don't want to buy a 15" LCD. you get kvm-over-ip (yes thats the actual bios) forget those little hardware boxes and octopus cables :-) it also has a virtual floppy (1.44MB) and cdrom(800MB) over windows share (CIFS/SMB) emulated to the host as a USB device. drive redirection allows you to share your local drive (floppy, cdrom, removable disks and harddisks) with the remote system. everone has spare network ports and multiple non-gaming hardwares dont they? bah... anyway i thought this was a neat way to get into a headless machine stuck in the closet {Duke shakes head} fwiw, the 15" LCD + 2xKVM was about $10 more than this solution
