Magruter March 11, 2004 Share Magruter Member March 11, 2004 I think a diamond ring is meant for only one purpose marrage. Have you thought about her birthstone. Unless you are hooked on buying her diamond. (birthstones are cheaper) diamond necklaces are also nice.
NyxErinyes March 11, 2004 Share NyxErinyes Member March 11, 2004 (edited) What if her birthstone IS a diamond mag? =) April happens to be a diamond. (My girlfriend's birthday is April, hence why I know this) Edited March 11, 2004 by NyxErinyes
Trouble .gc March 11, 2004 Share Trouble .gc Member March 11, 2004 mag you are crazy. diamonds are a girls best friend, and i don't mind getting them at all. i like number 1. thats the one you should get her. BUT a birthstone is not a bad idea either. Diamonds are better
Magruter March 11, 2004 Share Magruter Member March 11, 2004 Diamonds are forever.... .....girlfreinds aren't. Alright that might be alittle mean, but i've my far share of girlfriends and serious relationships. Diamonds are just a rock i know, but they are a significant symbol of love. They shouldn't just be tossed around like a status symbol. When was she born? How long have you been dating?
LongHair March 11, 2004 Share LongHair Member March 11, 2004 diamonds are alittle too strong if you're just wanting to get her a present... especially if a diamond is set in a ring. Perhaps a pendant or earrings? I like the pendants myself b/c I get to help put them on. Got my ex a nice Sapphire Pendant and matching earrings for a Christmas present... (SHe looks great in blue ) ...too bad we broke up but it wasn't meant to be, and we're still very close... so to speak... but not literally close... she just moved to knoxville, TN so we're not that close but we are... man I get all emotional when I start talking bout her I'm a little fa-clempt... talk amongst yourselves...
