Here's how I see it: Wii - not truly next gen and has a gimmick, makes a profit on every system and relies mainly on first party titles to drive their product. appeals to the casual gamer and creating new gamers. 360 - has good support for developers and is easy to program for. has a great online infrastructure which makes people want to play titles on their system. fail rate for the system is horrid. PS3 - has horrid support for developers and is difficult to program for. their online infrastructure won't be solid until home comes out. sony is losing software exclusivity since the 360 came out but once developers figure out how to program for it, software sales will grow. has the best overall features for a next gen system.

I just saw ocean's 13 last night for the first time. I have to say, I thought Izzard would play a more comedic role. All his stand up is hilarious!

as a sniper, your biggest priority is getting over how good you are at cs:s and playing a real class thats more useful, like any other class except for sniping well put sir, well put. i concur.

what i learned from this: "when in doubt sound it out" and when i get something right that i didn't expect to... don't react like this kid, ALWAYS make it look like you knew.

I haven't been a fan of the dialog, but I'm interested to see what happens with the characters. The special effects are ok... I'm a tad disappointed.

n602 uses it, it's convenient and works nice. This should definitely be installed.

I've never seen this happen on any PS3 and that includes devkits that were not turned off for months at a time. If that's honestly the case I'd return it. I'll take a PS3 over the 40% fail rate of 360s.

I almost forgot about the HD loader, if you have a HDD in your PS2, you can load that on it without a chip thus eliminating the void warranty issue. Just make sure it works with discs from other territories. After checking, the new version is called HD Advance and can be dled free online.

Hmm I'm not sure, but I do know that when I worked in test at SONY we had PAL PS2s and TVs when we needed to check the different territories. Even if there was a conversion from PAL to NTSC, the quality would be really bad.

I've been spending my time playing TF2, I can't get enough of it. After playing it, I'm not sure I could go back to Insurgency.

It seems reminiscent of the same pace that Tribes had and people played that with FF on. Do most of the really competitive servers have FF off?

i've been playing a bit of cs and a bit of tf2 beta each night. i'll hop on when i get home, anyone else down? do we have enough interest to have the admins of css to also be admins over in tf2? i wouldn't be super dedicated to admining but when i'm on i would gladly keep the server under control. any differences in admining tf2?
