As I am the main admin who plays here, I have this to say: 1 When I am on, I will always put a vote to play 'dodge' 2 99% of the time I'm on the losing team, it breaks the boredom, for the most part it's fun 3 It doesn't happen that often when I am on I will abide by senior admin decision though whether to stop.

Video card is good, never a BSOD on main computer or any other major problems, this is my baby, I'll protect him at all times - btw, I do not allow anyone else on this computer, if others do use it, it's always under very strict supervision

I got a 2nd HDD installed on the computer - I've left it totally clean, no programs etc installed on it - would you advise transferring the steam folder on there - or can I copy and paste it over?

I'll try the defrag tonight. Got plenty of HD space and no, he's still very healthy. Tried playing on other server closer to home and in off-line mode, slightly quicker but still the last to load in.

I'm usually the last to load in, but I can only assume at this point it's either or could be both (Steam/windows update) that's making connection to server very slow. It only happens when there is a map or campaign change. By the time I do get in, the team is usually half way through the map. This has only been happening for the past week. Any suggestions? Thanks

When you washed your mouse, did it come up squeaky clean?

T1's are pretty useless now, esp smgs imho.

Hi Les Twins, Thanks for coming here - it was a 1 hour ban. Should be expired by now. You should NEVER try to follow a rusher and help as the admin cannot see 'ALL' that goes on and will assume that you are also rushing.

NO CUSTOM MAPS What every L4D2 player needs to do is petition Steam/Valve to stop with the cop-out of appeasing people with crappy custom mods etc and get off their lazy fat hinds a make some new campaigns. I doubt this is going to happen - apathy seems to rule

No extra 'special' hordes imho. The simplicity of this server makes it stand above all others. Just increase the cost of fireworks making it difficult to buy them continuously.

Best time to buy horde: several players are incapped fighting 2/3 tanks, immediately after a boomer has exploded on them; otherwise save points for something useful.

Don't disappear altogether. will miss you.

Got this tip from the great man himself, John Cleese himself: made me give up for a few years. Fill a pint glass half of water and extinguish any cigarettes in there and leave them to mount up. Cover with a beer mat and everytime you crave for the cancer stick, just pop your nose in and have a smell. Guaranteed it will make you not want to smoke. Must give up myself. My uncle has been a chain smoker for nearly 40yrs, smoking on average 80 cigarettes a day. Few years back, his wife said that she was going to put the same amount of money away he spends on cigarettes for a year. After the year was over, she took herself and a friend on a 3month world cruise.
