appalachian_fox March 16, 2005 Share appalachian_fox Member March 16, 2005 I pretty much stick with Internet Explorer for FTP purposes. I like WS_FTP, and use that sometimes too (Educational Version) but Internet Explorer is just so convenient, has the drag and drop options, etc. Only thing I noticed is if you are moving a lot of small files it seems to take a little longer than other proggies. Wish Firefox had the option built in...

appalachian_fox March 17, 2005 Share appalachian_fox Member March 17, 2005 Yeah, used those proggies. Not bad, especially since some places are starting to move to SShell and SFTP. Nothing special, though, imho, but definitely not bad.
auggybendoggy April 3, 2005 Share auggybendoggy Member April 3, 2005 fats, whatever you use if you find your ftp uploads to a point; meaning at a certian amount of data it stops. try a setting called passive. I had this prob with cuteftp recently and I found that after about 100 files uploaded it just quit and started over. So somone advised me to turn it on passive and it solved my prob.
