appalachian_fox February 22, 2006 Share appalachian_fox Member February 22, 2006 Both. Electric for the quickness, blade FTW. I'll use a blade any time I want that extra smoothness: laziness leads to long stubble, job interview / contract meeting, those sorts of things. Regular mornings, the electric gets close enough for my lazy self.
*BiGBonES** February 22, 2006 Share *BiGBonES** Member February 22, 2006 Are you guys talking about blades as in knives etc, or razers? I shave with my light sabre!
Goofus Maximus February 22, 2006 Share Goofus Maximus Member February 22, 2006 Mostly I use the Mach 3. (no shaving cream! Just scrape scrape scrape!), but I do have an electric, which I use when I run out of m3 blades. It takes the mach 3 and shaving against the grain, to really get rid of the "stubble" look for me. NOFX February 22, 2006 Share NOFX Member February 22, 2006 electric razors are horrible!! Not only does it take so long to shave, it just plain sucks... I use a mach 3 with the battery, the vibration really helps. ha

appalachian_fox February 23, 2006 Share appalachian_fox Member February 23, 2006 NoFX, what kind of electric did you use? I'm curious, because I get good results very quickly with my one electric, but I also managed to get a beard / hair trimming / electric shaver system for a present once, and I must say it is an all-in-one-P.O.S. I'm curious if it's dependent on face type / facial hair characteristics as well as make and model.
anonymo February 23, 2006 Share anonymo Member February 23, 2006 I've tried razors a bunch of times and it just never seems to work...even that five blade gillotine doesn't budge on my face...i don't feel like i have thick facial hair either...ah well...so I use a 3 head electric...it's almost 8 years old but it still works fine...gonna get a new one soon though...works great and only takes me a couple of minutes
Chief February 24, 2006 Share Chief Member February 24, 2006 Shaving is for chumps. I use the sideburn trimmer on my electric razor for my whole face. Me too! But some occasions make me bring out the Gillete Mach 3 I bought a few years ago.
