Much better than the midwest regulars right now for me. I felt like my registration was better and the overall feel of play felt better, however it wasnt full but i still think its a very good server. I'll see how it feels when its full sometime soon.

Ok i tried it when it was full and still felt amazing with registration. Didnt notice any rubberbanding or lag. Good server.

Seems to be running at or around 100 in w/o choke w/ 10v10 right now.

Of course I can never say anything that isn't wrong. Just after I posted it dropped to upper 70s one round, but mostly it stays at 100.

The ping jumnp in my route cleared up yesterday and is normal. NOt sure why server is down atm.

i think X just copied our recrud files over, aka our rotation so if it goes to a non valve map in the rotation it may crash, or he may have fixed that and im just stupid

But as far as review of the server. The ping was like 7 higher for me but the registration seemed much better also never rubberbanded or dropped below 89 in for me, plus choke only between 0-4(remember anything less than 15 is supposedly non noticable for gameplay, but you dont want it fluctuating)

even from the west, i can push my rates a lot higher and have the server keep up...i think there were 18 of us on at the time. my pings did range anywhere from 120 (seldom) to 70 (more consistantly).

so far so good, but if we're going to do an apples to apples comparison, it's only fair to knock the a2g boxes down to the same player size.

I loved the server, I normally play on all the GC servers so I'm used to pings around 80 from west coast. Especially once the man-admin message stopped popping up *was fixed* everyone got even better, oh and did the map switching problem clear up later?

I think so. We need a super hard rounder (like several maps in a row full) of testing tonight.

Tonight we're going to run a heavy test. The server should be stable now. Going from Linux to Windows was a bit of an issue with some of our settings/plugins.

At any rate, from about 8 PM on, I'm going to reroute Recrud traffic to this server. We need to get a real idea of how it's going to perform, and we need that idea tonight.

Not sure if this will help, but here are a few things I felt a bit annoying while I was playing this afternoon. First, after the game was won, the time between the CT, or T win! was almost nonexistant. Also, the FF was off and the round's were not limited to first to 10 or *certain amount of time*, but instead to a certain amount of time, which was longer then normal.

Everything else was fine.

Those are settings.

We're looking for performance reports.

However, the time after the game and the next start....well, quick load time is great! I'm not sure if there's a setting to allow for some time to hang around and look at the leaderboard and say gg....dunno if that's a cvar or not.

mp_chattime, I think it's usu on 10 for us. mp_freezetime (the buy time) is low also, but like you said they're just settings. Play seems good for me, I can run 100 updaterate w/o choke, but I was not having problems before anyway.

Interesting...in all the years I've never even seen that cvar. It's on 10 now though. Maybe we should up it to like 20 or something so we can ask about each other's days after the map.

If we keep the server, all those settings will mimic our normal settings.
