Anyone Else This?

New Valve Anti-Cheat technology caught a few people cheating in Counter-Strike: Source and other games this week -- over 10,000. VAC detects anyone using cheat software and permanently bans their Steam account. We expect to see a surge of forum posts laying blame squarely at the feet of "my little brother."

Awesome! A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

Probably Valve was looking for some boost for the quarterly financial results so quickly generated sales for CS:S licenses :)

Also considering the 10,000 number:

According to the server stats at steampowered currently (at the time of writing this post) there are 51,000 players - it means 20% cheats. Every 5th person... Remarkable.

If you think a 23 player GC server it mathematically means 4 cheaters when the server is full :D :D :D
