I am certified in most Dell systems and I tell the "tech rep" that I know that the issue is this or that and that I need a replacement this or that and that is it. Sometimes I have to be a little tough and tell them that I do not have the time to repeat all of their steps so please get the parts on order and a ticket generated so I can move on. I am usually done in 20 minutes or so. I refuse to try and talk to them on the phone.
