Fatty August 19, 2003 Share Fatty GC Founder August 19, 2003 ...from the mother of a student from last year's class who was watching my snake over the summer. A neighbor kid steals it from house, takes it home, tells his dad that he found it and asks to keep it. Dad says no and makes him let it go down by a stream. I doubt a California King is going to survive an Ohio winter. The worst part about it is that I have to tell the family from 2 years ago that bought her for me. But, the dad is being responsible and I am going to find another snake (I told em to look for her for a week and to alert all the neighbors...the thing doesn't look like any Ohio snake). Oh well. Gond August 19, 2003 Share Gond Member August 19, 2003 Oh my...thats a VERY good reason for a rear tanning for that kid...then make him stay outside till he finds the thing. Least the parent is taking some responsibility.

gOOters August 19, 2003 Share gOOters Member August 19, 2003 Yay for responsible parenting! Of course, if he was REALLY responsible, he would have taken his kid and thrown him into a pit in the back yard filled with vipers and cobras.

Slaphappy August 20, 2003 Share Slaphappy Member August 20, 2003 (edited) awww poor snake...my dad brought home a ball python for a few weeks. It would have been fun to keep it..to bad they get so big. Then again he was just saving it from some numb nut who thought it was a copper head or something else completly retarted. Oh well. As for me I'd be happy with a corn snake (my friend katie has one and it's so purdy) I wub snakes Edited August 20, 2003 by Slaphappy
