Wow Homer! Those are some nice scores!

So 300 bucks for MB+CPU.. Ill have to think about it, but thats not too bad... Im getting back 4k from taxes, but i gotta get my wifes volvo into the shop to fix an oil leak. And the taxes are paying for the house and condo in florida this june.. And my wife told my kids they could each have some money to buy some toys with.. And im sure that she has some spending in mind as well..

To all the single guys out there, DONT get married and have 3 kids... Unless you live on a farm..

Well my new processer came in today. It's a XP 2800+ Barton (My old one was a XP 1800 OC to run at 1 .7 instead of 1.5. I was hoping this would solve some of my problems with not being able to run games as well as I liked. So here are the new Marks.

Ok new marks coming I'm a dum-dum and I had the FSB set at 133 instead of 166.

the thing that gets me is Is I still can't play farcry at any better than 1024x768 with med settings. As soon as I turn it up to high it lags like crazy.

The only thing left is ram. I've got 512 now (some off brand) but I really though this would be enough to make a differnce. Can't think of anything else though

It's kinda like the old days of computer gaming.

Everyone is gonna lag in that game.

I play at med settings in 1024 with 8xAF and no AA.

I get what feels like 20-30FPS constantly. Which is ok during single player.

Best looking game ever though and I like that.

I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with my card settings. Not sure what it was, but I installed the Omega drivers for my 9800 Pro just now, and my 3D Mark 03 tests all ran about 20fps faster then before.

i would like to read the source of that please. :)

car low, car high, drago low and drago high ? what about lobby and nature, my fps go up go up when i oc the video.... i will say that if you run car low a bunch of times, you will eventually get a very nice run. Also, take breaks or change the order you run the tests to find whats best. Running only 4 tests wont even give you a score. I think you get a score when you finish 5 of the 7, might be 6 of 7.
