The problem with T and CT rounds on a map is that a lot of players tend to switch to make the teams more fair. I personally dont like losing 8 rounds and then having the top two players from the other team switch and then make us play another 12 rounds, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

back in the day, Id almost prefer the USP over the deagle. Now I'd rather have the glock.. at least I got 20 shots

Thanks for all the info trash. I used to be very active in these forums back in the day. The emulator wont run because of lack of memory. My 150 gig raptor only had 2 gigs free also. As much as I want to upgrade.. I just can't seem to pull the trigger on anything. Upgrading to anything less than i5 seems like a waste. Perhaps I will hold off.. just a bit longer.

Not planning on buying a GPU right now. Im looking at either a FX-8350 8 core AMD or the i5-3570k. 16 gigs of RAM and whatever motherboard can handle it. The FX looks beast in benchmarks, but in gaming frames per second it looks like the i5 is much better. Id also like to pick up an SSD drive and swap out my raptor. I keep telling myself my FPS are good enough, but now eclipse IDE is bogging down and I can't even run a full nexus 7 emulator with a gig of RAM.

So after looking through my history in newegg, I haven't upgraded my motherboard or RAM since August 2007. Im currently running a quad core Q8400@3.0ghz with 4 gigs and a 6850 GPU. Obviously, I've been out of the scene for a while. What's the current bang for your buck CPU? An i5-3570k? Any new lineups coming out soon that I should hold off and wait for?

I didn't play beta, but I have to agree with mo... definitely one of the best fps games I've played in years. Its a little different, but still has the same cs feel to it that every other FPS game has lacked. Farewell source..

I got in on the republic wireless beta. Gotta buy the LG optimus for $199, but then it's $19 a month for unlimited text, data and voice with no contract. The catch is that you have use wifi as much as possible.. which a lot of us do anyway.. I currently have the $60 no contract Tmobile unlimited. I hardly even use voice anymore.. monthly cell service is way overpriced

I'm still jealous of the sv650 stutters.. I still got my modded FZ6, but haven't ridden for a while. I just moved less than a mile from the blue ridge parkway, so I'm sure I'll have her out this summer.

Goodbye Chesapeake, Hello Roanoke! My plan was to quit this spring and start hiking the AT if no jobs popped up. Late in the game (late February) I was on my employers website and saw an opening out in Roanoke. Sent in my resume, went through the motions and got hired as an Automation Software Engineer. Looking at this as more of a reason to move than anything and the new experience will be worth it too. Working with industrial controls and robotics sounds sort of cool and will be a welcome change. Hopefully it will hold my attention span for a few years, but if not.. I'm just thankful to be out of Hampton Roads. As Samurai said, it's all been luck.. I got hired by a company, that was bought out by another company that happened to have offices all over the world and many opportunities. But I have to tell you.... As much as ZD would like you to believe luck has something to do with our governments policies.. Luck is about being prepared for when the opportunity arises. I have never had anyone I knew find me a job. When I first got into the field. I was very lucky to be offered an interview. I was prepared by getting a degree, spending a lot of time working on the resume, getting small related IT jobs prior, researching the company and putting myself in a position to be able to move 5 hours away.

Probably put new springs on if anything..as the originals ones are pretty wore out. I do think it would look good with a couple inch lift, black rims and 33's. I might do all that when these tires wear out. They are brand new, so it might be a while. I still have my scion tc for commuting. Gets almost 30 on the highway or I could ride my FZ6 which can does around 40mpg if I don't run around at 13k rpm.

I finally got myself a truck last fall. 97 Dakota, ext. cab, 5.2l v8, 5 speed, 4x4, 88k miles, new 31's, cold air intake, new cv joints, new rancho adjustable shocks and new flow masters exhaust, cat and all. For a 15 year old truck, its super clean inside and out and runs great. Sucks down the gas, but it has been well taken care of. She's a beast. Picked it up for $5,000.

I like LG G2x, even though I have never even touched an iphone or even macbook, I suspect I have much more freedom to tinker with my phone than I would if I had picked up an iphone. I can ssh into my phone to transfer files, free RDP app, ssh tunneler to route all my network traffic through a home server when downloading torrents. Plus I've used google voice for a few years now and I'm pretty sure it didn't originally work on the iphone. The free text messaging and text messages/missed calls showing up in my email is extremely convenient for me. I don't get service very well in my apartment, but if Im connected to my wifi(which it always is). I can make and receive free calls using sipdroid and google voice. This also allows me to make and receive calls anywhere in the world as long as I'm connected to wifi Just curious can I do any of this stuff with an Iphone? If so, is it also free?

I got Tmobiles 4G. At my office I'm getting anywhere from 5-7Mps down and not sure about my up. 500kbps? Maybe 1Mbps? I also have a sub 60 ping. Too bad I don't even get service in my apartment.

A few years ago when I was playing Bad Company 2, I upgraded from my dual core intel to a quad core, so I could play the game. It made a world of difference.
