Bubblegum Bandit December 31, 2005 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member December 31, 2005 The reason their prize table looks like that is because they can seat 600 people and already have 400+ signed up. Some of the bigger sponsors require a minimum of 200 gamers before they will donate.
wayfarer December 31, 2005 Share wayfarer Member December 31, 2005 Might want to also keep in mind it looks like ATI is "dumping" some product there. I can't read what cards those boxes are, but they're not X800's or X850's Looks like at the most they're 9800's & if thats a 2004 lan those cards are a little outdated! akaM2 December 31, 2005 Author Share akaM2 Member December 31, 2005 Sorry that was from there lan awhile ago and they were 9800 pros, not bad but not great, there most recent one was in july and they gave away 256mb x800 pros But again like bub said this is a lan that has 300+ people so im sure ati has no problems giving away 20+ vid cards Also have something hanging from the ceiling like this but have it say GC
Bubblegum Bandit December 31, 2005 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member December 31, 2005 LOL, if we tried to hand something that big in the ballroom, we might as well set it on the floor. That would be a cool idea if we had high ceilings where the lan was held though.

Had both ATI and nVidia, and both brands have been excellent to me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thank you, I had a Nvidia, then ATI, then Nvidia, then ATI... they usually come so close and I usually can't afford the high end products until a few months after they come out that I don't really care. I mean they're both good gaming cards, it's not like saying which is better Intel or AMD for gaming, that's a fact that can't be argued .
