[Mmmm]Ghost February 11, 2004 Share [Mmmm]Ghost Member February 11, 2004 I basically have to take off 9 days for this event, and since it is only running three days, I have 6 days to kill ( 4-5 really )....I am a person that has never left the east coast (except for pennsylvania ) and I am looking for stuff to do to kill the extra days. I really don't wnat to drive home and sit, so I'm open for anything. i am looking for any suggestions from people who live close to fragfest on what I can do. Fatty suggested rock and roll hall of fame and NFL hall of fame, both sound great but since I only have one Hawaiin shirt, kackie shorts, sandles, and only 1 mem stick for my digi-cam, doing tyhe whole "tourist" thing for multiple days might not work out to well Just hanging out, having a good time is something I have no problem doing as long as the following guildlines are met : You supply food, bed, facilities. Pretty single sisters/friends is a definate plus, while some sort of broadband connection is a must have :D LOL J/K . All kidding aside whats to do out there?? LongHair February 11, 2004 Share LongHair Member February 11, 2004 You can always come visit the windy city.... I was gona suggest that too... but the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is a must see if you like music memorabilia. Lots of cool stuff there. I was an inch away from playing one of John Lennon's pianos... thought better of it and pulled my fingers back behind the velvet rope. (which wasa good idea because the curator was on his way over to thump me if I did.
Gunman February 11, 2004 Share Gunman Member February 11, 2004 Come back to Chicago and meet the midwest people somewhere and we could hang out for a day. I think I could work something out with Bullet and we could chill for an extra day. Gunny

Fatty February 12, 2004 Share Fatty GC Founder February 12, 2004 I just realized something! We'll have a spare bedroom by then! BTW, I'd expect would be visiting Tequila panchos... Maybe you could arrange to be at my place (if at all) the last couple days before FF so then you could help me get set/loaded and we could carpool down together..... As far as Playaa and his swingin...dunno about that.... At any rate, perhaps a Thursday evening Panchos gathering could be in order......
SheepNutz February 12, 2004 Share SheepNutz Member February 12, 2004 If you do go to Cleveland, be sure to check out Great Lakes Brewing Company (www.greatlakesbrewing.com). They make some of the finest beers in the country. I highly recommend Edmund Fitz, Burning River, Dortmunder Gold, and Eliot Ness.
[VI]ROosTEr February 12, 2004 Share [VI]ROosTEr Member February 12, 2004 True, Great Lakes is a great Brewery, burning river is definitely a solid beer. If you hit up Chicago, check out Goose Island Brewery. Their Honker's Ale is great.
