Are you still not smoking? If so watch the snacking! I had this problem. You don't even realize your doing it. You have to cut out the chips, peanuts, pretzels, candy, popcorn, everything. Especially chocolate bars. Save these things to reward yourself. Chocolate takes on a whole new experience once you've quit smoking. I found myself jumping in the car right after dinner & going to the local convienience store to grab a couple chocolate bars. They are excellent at killing the cravings for a cigerette, except that each one contains almost as much calories as an entire meal.

appalachian_fox March 9, 2006 Share appalachian_fox Member March 9, 2006 (edited) D'oh. The scale is officially off its rocker. It won't weight consistently at all. I mean, it's a cheap bathroom scale, so I never put much faith in it in the first place but it is totally whacked now. I'm pretty much out: Even if I bought a new scale, it wouldn't match up to what my scale reads now (hopefully, considering...) so I think I'm dead in the water. It was good, though. Even though I haven't registered any real loss in the past two weeks on the scale, I am definitely in better shape. Sorry to bail on the weight, guys. I'll still check in.
