10 lbs - 8 weeks - Challenge

Ok, after nearly 2 months off with minimal exercise and plenty of wine, I have gradually coasted back up from 181 to 185.

 

If you're ready to lose 10 lbs, this is your chance to do it with me (I'm going to assume Bub is going to be in. No drama, just daily weigh-ins so we can see what's going on. Pick your weigh-in time, doesn't matter, just do it the same time each day. Who cares if you're currently in another program or competition. Do this one too!

 

What do I have to do? No Poker or CS until I've had my workout for the day, or have had 4 workouts in a week, including basketball on Sundays. You don't need to post a plan or whatever, doesn't matter how you do it, just do it!

 

10 lbs in 8 weeks is 1.25 / week. That's a good schedule of moderate loss, but you can go at it however you want.

 

There's no starting some other time, this one starts TODAY! I'm not waiting! 8 weeks takes us to March 21. For many of you guys that could be right around spring break time if you're a student! How about feeling good about 10 lbs gone before spring break!? It's going to be warming up, you're gonna wear less clothes..let's be more confident to do that!

Becca, your weight loss is great. GJ. Why would already losing weight prevent you from joining this? Its just added motivation. I mean, last year at FF I weighed in at a hefty 250 +/- pounds and through Fatty and I pushing each other I'm down to 211!!!! This is just a way to keep it goin!!!! I would guess my wife would want to do this as well, I'll get her in on it when I get home from work.

Im too lazy, but the last time i tryed to loose pounds i lost 50 pounds in 2 months.

I'm in. I'll get ya my weight soon. Although I've already been working out since the beginning of the year. Up at 5am to hit the eliptical crosstrainer then hit the weights for an hour in the afternoon. I normally don't weigh myself just go by how I look and how my clothes fit. Never believed in the use of scales. To me it's how you feel and look, not about the actual weight.

 

Last time I weighed myself was in Dec for a doctor's appointment. At that time I was 205 fully dressed with boots on. So, I'm guessing I was somewhere between 195 and 200 in actual weight.

Well...I guess I should do this considering I've definitely gained a new friend in the front since going to University...my only problem is that I don't really know what I should do to lose the weight...I don't have time really in the morning to get to a gym or go jogging (unless I lose my marbles and start getting up at 4:30AM...not happening)...I really wish I had a stationary bike, but I don't...should I just run around the block or something? Don't really know my weigt atm, will measure myself when I get home...oh and sorry for the short story Fatty...but I felt it was necessary :shrug03:

This is going to be interesting...I dunno how much I way but I'm pretty sure I gained weight myself too. I believe I'm posting my weight...it makes me sound fat...well really fat. :freak3: I'm 5'7

Day 2: 142 lbs... biked 1 mile and paced .5 mile wore the wrong shoes for runnning ... also did some work on ab/back machines

Day 6: biked 2 miles curled 20lbs set of 5 and 10 reps... 70lbs leg press sets of 5 and 10 reps. Ate... bad, but it was sooo good. >_<

IN! (though I won't weigh in for a couple days cause I gotta go get a scale)

 

Day 1: 290 (fear that) (January 24)

Day 2: 290 (unweighed still) - but I did bike last night for 15 minutes...that's a big deal for me.

Day 3: 290 (unweighed) and I worked out again. YAY!

Day 4: Missed Workout

Day 5: Missed Workout

Day 6: Missed Workout (still unweighed...getting scale tonight)

Day 7: (January 30) Stepping up to 20 minutes of biking from 10...gonna be tough.

Day 8: Official weigh-in: 292.0 (288.4 this morning)

Day 9: 292.0 but I've been consistently working out. w00t.

Day 10: Ladies and Gentlemen (and bunnies). 291.4 my first drop in weight...a whole .6 pounds.

Day 11: weekend

Day 14: (February 6) 288.7 starting the 30 minute workout tonight

Day 16: 290.0 DOH! biked for 28 minutes...then my leg went numb...
