Im too lazy, but the last time i tryed to loose pounds i lost 50 pounds in 2 months.

 

No offense, but I don't believe it. This is also for fun and done with trust....so this isn't a good start.

 

50 lbs in 2 months is 25 lbs / month which means what, 6.25 lbs / week...for 8 straight weeks?? Um, no. Maybe if you said you went to boot camp and about died in the process....I'd almost believe it.

 

Anyways, we have 18 now!

Hey, I'm all for community fitness and I've got ten pounds to donate to the cause. I'm not sure I can weigh in every day, depends when I can get to a scale but I'll make it a point to get to one every other day. Paste me up and I'll get weighed in.

 

This will be interesting...My goal was depending on how much my muscles had atrophied, to hit around 190. I didn't realize how far I had already come...I'm going to push for 185, and then I may start tracking body fat to measure additional fat loss. Fatty, if you're counting, that's 11 lbs., one extra "for the team." I got real lazy at my desk job, I still haven't quite got the hang of sitting around all day.

 

Okay, I have decided to start measuring body fat once a week. I use the DoDI 1308.3 Body Fat Program Procedure because (1) it's easy, (2) all the information is free to download and...well...I guess that's it. Find it at:

I will measure once a week and compute fat loss from that, because historically this is about the weight range I get into when my lean body mass starts adding back up. I would like to be at about 15% body fat, which in very rough numbers is two pounds a week from here.

 

ACK! I am having teh issues with my body fat range. I think I need more lean muscle mass, and I'm thinking that the simplicity of the DoDI 1308.3 procedure is its downfall...I might not be seeing all the results I'm really getting. I also realized late last week that I desparately need a new scale, so suspect measurements are in italics. Of course, every measurement could be considered suspect, but I only noticed major issues recently.

 

Well, apparently I'm just not working hard enough. I'm surprised there's no chest or arm measurements under DoDI 1308.3, but I guess that could be misleading. However, I'm still making forward progress! One more week...

I kinda went though a "i need to change phase" and worked out every day, i was at 230 and went to 180. My doctor said to "never do that again" at the end of my phase i felt week, and could barely do normal activities. So the doctor put me on ensure. I'm telling the truth, believe it or not.

I will make an attempt. I know I got some extra weight to donate.

 

 

I am not concered about the numerical value of my wieght anymore. I busted out my belt and had to put a new whole in it. I lost about 2 inches from my waist! Sweet deal. I will continue to monitor my wieght but I am trying to lose another 2 inches from my belt. More satisfying to me. :D

Excellent! That's 21.....and no "trying" allowed! We're counting on 10 lbs of fat from everyone!

UPDATE YOUR WEIGHTS EVERYONE! BE HONEST, AND WORK HARD!

 

I told a couple people today....I popped a cookie in my mouth and then spit it in the garbage after I chewed it up.....that's the discipline. I should never have gone for the cookie....

 

Here's to healthy eating! Rationalizing is for the weak....and was last week!! 8 weeks of good eating and more exercise than we were doing in the last months!

 

I wanna know who the studs are that are gonna lose say 11 or 12 lbs to help those that are struggling to finish with 10?!?! Remember, it's a team goal......210 lbs....that's like an entire person!

 

We could build the GC mascot out of this 210 lbs of fat!

Well, what I erased was worse....something to do with how good the fat on bacon tastes...and whether or not we could save some for Saturday brunch at FragFest.

Bacon fat on green beans are good. Too bad i cant have that for 8 weeks :D
