Laz.e.rus December 15, 2006 Share Laz.e.rus Member December 15, 2006 Seattle got hosed with some major storms and power outtages. Thats where Steam is located. Lots of servers are down. Youll see errors like cant verify steam ticket, etc. Heres the origianl post at steam forums, but now I cant even get into those. There is currently a wide spread power outage in Bellevue/Seattle impacting Steam Server availability. Unfortunately ETA for when the power will be restored is unknown as the power company will only work on restoring it once the storm has eased and the high winds have died down. Any issues you are experiencing with connecting to Steam are only temporary, as this isn't an end-user issue. Please check this Forum or Steam News for further updates. This was posted later in cal..not sure of the source: "NEW: Restoration of power could take days, authorities say" Dont go deleting client registry files, worrying that its you, or anything else for the mext couple of days.
