Bubblegum Bandit September 7, 2004 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member September 7, 2004 NOFX....I think having a job you love and can be excited about forever is worth staying in school another 2 years. just my opinion. Took me 8 years to decide what I wanted to do (that's a lot of partying) in college.
Gunman September 7, 2004 Share Gunman Member September 7, 2004 Computer Technician and Sales Representative for Circuit City. Basically I sell pre-built computers and sometimes someone will custom order one and I will build that for them. Fun job - decent pay - but I don't and won't get much respect from the outside world. 00b3rN00b September 7, 2004 Share 00b3rN00b Member September 7, 2004 Just quit my job as a produce clerk at a grocery store after a year because I wasn't getting ANY free time (working 20 hours/week weekends and going to school weekdays). I am a Biology major with Chemisty and German minors trying to graduate in 3 years so I can move on to grad school and get a PhD in Genetics so I can do research. After 2 years of college, I have 112 credits, and plan on graduating in the spring. I also want to do a year in Europe next year, spending a semester in London and Szezged, Hungary, respectively with my current school before I go to grad school. I am taking an insane schedule this semseter. Barf.

spiralstairs September 8, 2004 Share spiralstairs Member September 8, 2004 I run a fruit/vegetable/local produce stand sometimes. Then the rest of the time I (try to) write stories/poems and record music.. Thats what I (want to) do. Both of those things. And if those things don't work, I'll go to school and learn how to stop the oceans from dying, or something important and meaningful like that. san` September 8, 2004 Share san` GC Alumni September 8, 2004 San - I used to party up there all the time, quite a few years ago though. I was just up that way all weekend at Clare and we almost stopped at the Casino but it looked packed. They still do Mayfest at Central? I'm not sure about Mayfest, but I do live in Clare since it's only about a 25 minute drive and it'll save me roughly $20,000 towards law school. General J September 13, 2004 Share General J Member September 13, 2004 I work for a company called Cardinal Health. If you use Leader Drug stores, I might have shipped out something you bought. Cardinal also owns Medicine Shoppe. We distribute medications and normal everyday over the counter items that you would find at walgreens to pharmacies. We are very tightly controlled by the DEA. Overall, it's a decent place to work. I am going to be going back to school this winter/ next spring. I am still trying to decide what I really want to do. I know, it sounds funny, but I am determined to decide and start back so I can actually get on with life. I am still battling between firefighting or going to ITT for my associates in networking and continuing on for my bachelors - Informations Systems Security. I would love to serve my community as a civil servant. But I figure with my bachelors, I would have a wide variety of job choices, even if they didn't have anything to do with IT.
