[LaW]Maverick

Known to go by Maverick, Envy|Maverick, and [MwR]Maverick, he was a player for the people.

Yes, he was prone to frustration, as all CS players succumb to from time to time; occasionally belting out tactics to his teammates in hopes that the next round be more favorable than the last. Regardless, foremost in his mind was always the success of his team in spite of what his own personal score reflected. That is to say, however, that he was never exactly displeased to see a 3:1 kill to death ratio alighted by his name in the standings.

Maverick was never much of a sniper--no, he was more of a get in your face to say hello type of player. Known to rush with any weapon on hand, Maverick would at least die in a blaze of glory, defiant to the end and raging against his imminent demise. Sometimes whole teams were slaughtered, their corpses littering the ground as Maverick trod through the carnage aggressively seeking a new target, and sometimes he was greeted--upon discovering his opposition--with a friendly lead slug between his eyes. Death did not phase Maverick, and as the words of his favorite poem state, he would not go quietly into that good night.

When a team was down and asked for Maverick's assistance, he was always quick to join the fray; he liked the challenge. He strove to fight honorably, and to help those in need.

A p228 was his favorite weapon for reasons unknown to most other CS players, but in his hands the small yet mighty pistol often resulted in death claiming enemy after enemy. Alas, even with his favorite pistol in hand, Maverick did suffer several peaks and valleys through his CS career, but he always played as part of the team, and that is what mattered to him.

He joined the magnanimous Gamerscoalition in an attempt to further the development of the community and lend his assistance to the many capable administrators. He did, however, seem to have a lot of trouble coming up with the last $50 for his admin powers. One day, soon after Christmas of 2006, he did however, and he continued to contribute to the GC community to the best of his abilities. Maverick wouldn't have had it any other way, and he wouldn't have played in any other place.

Remember him fondly friends, as he loved his community and fought for the team, always.

MmmmConGregation: Good, but not good enough (hence the epitaph which suggests a tombstone which would imply a death which would indicate inferior skills since this said tombstone is in a CS reality)

What I would want it to say? An awesome guy who was sooo cool the leet model felt like an ordinary guy around him.

What I would like it to say that has some possibility in this world of being said? A nice guy who was fun to play with.
