stutters February 26, 2007 Author Share stutters GC Alumni February 26, 2007 Are there any extensions out there that can be set up to block flash ads?yeah @ https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/433/it turns the flash into a play button, so you can see it if you want...in theory. 1/2 the time it doesn't load properly after clicking the play button. anyone use greasemonkey in the no so distant past? i used to use it for managing multiple gmail signatures, but greasemonkey stopped working for me with ff 2.0.0.2. if you figured out how to unbreak it... Prolly my best advice is to stop surfing for porn on mom and dads computer lol. on your top toolbar click on tools/options/privacy tab and then select to delete everything when you close firefox. I knew about this, but i hate it cause I don't want a play button on every single flash object... just the ads. Is there anything that lets me block stuff from certain sites from loading? mookie February 27, 2007 Share mookie GC Alumni February 27, 2007 On the sites you go to, just click 'allow Flash from this site.' It should still block the ads since most of them are from other sites (much like the old option to only load images from the current site).
